Artist Statement
Self-taught artist, recovering architect, migrainuer.  I love painting, and use vibrant color and simple shapes as a starting point. After that, I am guided by serendipity. Tales of struggle for social justice drive me.  I paint with acrylics, oils, and wax encaustics.

Photography has been part of my work in architecture and I enjoy shooting for myself now, looking for the unseen in my environment. My work is currently displayed at The Wooden Cow Gallery and Artspace in Albuquerque's NE heights, and at One Up in downtown Albuquerque.
